11/27/07 - Katrina has been added to the roster of artists playing a fundraiser at The Sherry Theater this Friday, November 30th.  All proceeds will go to fire fighters who recently battled the devastating fires in Southern California. 11/10/07 - Due to a broken tailbone, Katrina has been out of commission for the last 3 months (see the latest Journal entry for more). However, she’s spent much of that time writing and prepping some new songs, and January-February show dates will be up very soon. 03/15/07 - Katrina's been announced as one of 6 finalists in the "Best Female" category of the So Cal Music Live Acoustic Competition. The final competition will be held on Saturday, March 24th, and the winners will be announced during an event at the Derby on April 6th.

07/10/06 - Katrina had a great time showcasing at this year's Diversafest in Tulsa, OK. She played an acoustic set at local wine bar Vintage 1740 on Saturday the 8th and received a wonderful response from the packed house. 10/26/05 - “Killing Me” and “All You Need” have been in rotation in the month of September and October on KCRW Broadband and on KCRW’s Swingshift show, DJ’d by Andrea Canter.

10/21/05 - The Los Angeles area CD release show on Thursday October 20th at Genghis Cohen was a success. An intimate evening of acoustic music featuring new material and songs from “Only Dreaming,” the set garnered Katrina a wonderful crowd response and a number of new fans. Thank you to all who came out and showed Katrina your support!

10/01/05 - Nashville based singer/songwriter Stacy Jagger is in the process of finishing her debut album “Faded Memories”, which includes songs featuring Katrina on backround vocals. The album has been described as “Bluesy Americana, with a twist of gospel” and is already receiving glowing reviews.

09/16/05 - Katrina is donating the song "All You Need" to a Houston Benefit CD for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  Proceeds derived from the sale of all music from “The Katrina CD” will be given to agencies dedicated to providing relief for those devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
